1. Information we collect

• Videos you upload. Files are stored on our servers so we can transcribe, preview and render them.
• Captions and settings. Transcripts, translations and style choices you create in the studio.
• Contact messages. Your name, email and message when you use the contact form.
• Technical data. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) used for security and reliability.

We do not require an account and we do not sell your personal information.

2. How we use it

• To generate captions: the audio track of your video is sent to OpenAI's Whisper service for transcription, and caption text is sent to an AI language model for translation.
• To render your captioned video and let you download it.
• To reply to messages you send us.
• To keep the service secure and working.

3. Cookies and advertising

We store your cookie choice in your browser's local storage. We show ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. If you click Accept, Google may show personalised ads; if you click Decline, only non-personalised ads are shown (these may still use cookies for frequency capping, measurement and fraud prevention). You can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer, and you can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings.

5. Data retention

Uploaded videos, rendered files and captions are kept only as long as needed to provide the service and may be deleted periodically. Contact messages are kept until your enquiry is resolved.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to object to its processing. To make a request, use our contact page.

7. Children

SubFlow Studio is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
